This selection of curated gifts is made for the person on your list who loves to workout, perhaps has expressed hoping to be a bit more active in 2018, or loves the atheisure trend and wants to look cute while comfortable. Either way, here are a few of my tried-and-true favorite items.
OrangeTheory Fitness: If you’ve been following me on Instagram, you know for the last month I’ve been obsessed with OrangeTheory Fitness. It’s an amazing HIIT style workout that tracks your heart rate to ensure you’re getting the best burn possible. It incorporates treadmills, rowers, and weights for an incredible 1 hour workout. For the month of December, they’re is offering a four-pack of classes for $99, or a five-pack for $129, which includes a limited edition drawstring bag and a wearable heart rate monitor. Get. On. It. And let me know if you have any questions, I’m happy to answer!
Brooks Running: I’ve been a huge huge huge lover and ambassador for Brooks over the last few years and my love for them runs deep and true. If you’re a runner (or you want to become one!), you must check out their running shoes. They’re the best running shoes on the market in my opinion. I’ve had the privilege of getting to go to several events of theirs where they explain the science and testing done behind many of their shoes, and they only focus on running. What is the saying – do one thing really well or do a lot of things mediocre? Brooks focuses their efforts on running only and they’re KILLING the game. You can go on their website and take a test to see what shoes would be best for you, or if you’re in Seattle you can visit their store and they’ll do a foot analysis! From a clothing perspective, I just picked up their FlyBy hoodie not too long ago and can’t take it off. It’s perfect for the office (I work in a casual environment), to wear to the gym, to errands, on the weekends, around the house….you get the idea.
Dry Shampoo: I only wash my hair about twice a week, so naturally dry shampoo is my best friend. This one from Amika smells phenomenal and does a great job of having my hair look and smell fresh and clean. If you haven’t experimented much with dry shampoo before, here is a kit with 5 different ones in trial sizes. I actually just picked this up because I love taking dry shampoo with me when I travel, and always like having mini bottles on hand so I don’t have to check my luggage. Win win!
Sweaty Betty Leggings: I picked up my first pair of sweaty betty leggings this summer when I was in Venice, CA and GUYS – I.AM.HOOKED. They’re honestly the softest pair of leggings I’ve ever touched or worn in my entire life and I don’t wear these to workout in anymore because I’m afraid they’ll deteriorate faster and I’ll cry 🙈 I know it sounds crazy but it’s true! I wear them around the house for lounging when I get home from work, when I fly, or when I’m running errands. Their prints are fantastic and I cannot say enough good things about them. They’re definitely pricey, but this time of year you’re almost guaranteed to get them on sale!
Lululemon Gym Bag: I’ve had my gym bag for about 2 years now, and while it isn’t the same exact one as this, it’s basically the updated version of the one I have. I saw my girlfriend got it for Christmas, and promptly went out and bought one for myself because I loved it so much. It has tons of pockets for snacks (literally, they’re named), a laundry bag for wet clothes, and tons of room to even fit a laptop and shoes. You could carry this to work and hold everything you need for the day, as well as have your gym clothes and what not in here for before or after work. It’s stylish and close to the body, and comes with a shoulder strap and a place to put your yoga mat as well!
